Ponder the last thing to come to mind is...

The file server is still puttering along on boontu 16.04, the Veriton is on 18.02 could that be the magic bullet? Well the second Veriton thats come out of retirement on a new power supply for trials has 16.04 on it now, so I'll get
it into place and report any differences there too.
