Sure, I'd have a good at that. Quake is one of my favorite things.
    The original and quake III

The trusty Q3 server cd I have has decided its going to be unreadable. :/ And after trawling through my HD collection it just seems to have gone to god. So its been trickier than I initially expected.

I have a small and for the present very ugly server installed. If you want to have a quick look, it should answer at tlp.zapto.org:27960 I'm using the ioquake3 engine, and theres some kind of problem with bots for some reason. They're not parsing properly its complaining about missing files.

I might try messing around with the old point release and see if it'll work any
better that way. So long as it'll run under x64.

Yeah, ioquake3 is what I use here, works really well.

What platform are you running your server on? I have a fairly recent ioquake3 test build if you'd like to try it.

She's running on the core2, with boontu 18.04LTS I'll have to have a refresher course in screen, at the moment its holding a terminal window open, and how to actually get a log out of the thing. That used to be an artform in itself.

My client is the original cd with point release added running in win7, gives me
hope the old point release dedicated server will still run.

I'll get the map screens together and pop them up somewhere. I can't push them,
because I don't have any kind of tic processor.
