You don't have to carry it if you don't want to... but it was created
for some new nodes in Latin America so they have a space for such
banter. I myself just put uncle Google translate to good work when
I post there :)

Ahh the second part apparently is color codes in the Solaris' sig. When I quoted it for the post back, either the editor or the BBS stripped them out. As
they arrived it looked like gibberish and my reply came out in straight text so it didn't seem to make much sense. But I did discover it was color codes :)

Do you ansi turned on. ?

Well I'm using synch, so ANSI is available, and the BBS has it turned on. It might be getting partially stripped somewhere along the way though, if I had to
guess the escapes are missing. Something is stripping the codes in outbound from here though, either the mailer or the BBS.

It's probably done with pipe codes. It is something that can be
turned on in Synchronet, as I don't think it's on by default.

So far as I can tell, I'm the only SuperBBS in the WORLD! So that might
be a slight reason for not having been near one recently. :) I had Aki and Rissto drop in a month back or so...unfortunately I can't get it reg'd no ones got a code, or even the source code for it now :/
