So I think, perhaps if you want to post about politics, and I totally understand in this current political climate it's a hot topic. You think very carefully about what you're saying, and whatever way you lean, if others are getting offended and upset, it's time to stop.

You make many good points. The only concern I have is where a relatively moderate appearing post seems to wildly upset someone. You can take all the steps you like to moderate, but at the end of the day, its also the "duty" of the offended and upset to sit back and re-read it, and think this is not an attack on "ME", its an observation or an opinion.
