I don't know if this is sigificant, but the failed packets have a certain amount of similarity, they all seem to be 3433 bytes, and fall over with 233 to
go. Whats in those packets? Might help figure out whats going on.

Just seem to be normal echomail. I removed two that caused issues
while force polling you just now to clear some 280+ packets...
it's truly random it seems :(

Are you sure you can't archive them with anything other than zip? It might get
around whatever weird string of characters that appear and cause the hiccough.
