    Ponder,
Seeing as the SynchroMush installer seems to want to eat my systems here. I decided to have a crack via synchronetbbs.org. Seeing as Marissa has put out the call for more takers.

On a totally different note, the sophos box, wasn't coping with the BBS node for some reason. Rather than beat the thing to death, I bit the bullet and popped up 2 nodes on my file server. Its roughly the same hardware as the Veriton dual core 2.4-6Ghz something like that, similar memory ~4Gb... I don't know what the difference is, but I'm going to have look at it more closely. The
Veriton's performance was ok, but nothing astounding, mind you with a constant
load average of 4+ because of 4 DOS VM's I'm not too surprised. But the file server is serving two nodes running like a scalded cat. Faster than anything I've seen before. So far for no apparent reason.

And to round things out, last Thursday's funeral went much as expected, I reckon Nen would've been having conniptions in her coffin. Surrounded by pink flowers which she hated, a great wailing and gnashing of teeth in church. Reminds me, the funeral isn't for the dead, its for the living.

Perhaps you're not following the instructions properly?

Hmm make and make install.. as I say I don't recall the exact details of the instructions I had...

    Absolutely not correct.

I recall looking at that page in the past now I'm looking at it again, I used the CVSTAG the very first time around as it seemed required but isn't. Anyway, the make seemed fine in itself, and as I say the install portion, I can't remember if it had the symlink=1 on it screwed permissions across the entire file system.

I probably following fairly normal procedure here, just did a make first to make sure it was going to compile. Then coming back for a rerun with the install.
