FTN was the entire reason I install this software although I was never able to get this software to correctly fidopoll my binkp server
I tried the NNTP client side as well it authenticates correctly but
will not download messages. I prefer FTN anyway.

I have a friend here in Brazil that tried HotdogED for the
samereason (he's a Syncrhonet sysop). At the end of the
day he preferred to use the app Aftershock. According to
him it's much easier to use and served his point flawlessly.

I can't say because I don't have any Android devices at home,
it's a pity nobody had developed something similar for the iPad. :)
