I just got a new modem installed this afternoon and it seems quite
fast. I got 170Mbps down and 16Mbps up with a server in Kelowna earlier today. How does telus compare to that?

    Wow, high speed, han? =D

I notice with this modem I can't connect to anything at trmb.ca.
Telnet, http or ssh.. I have to use localhost. I hope folks on the
    outside can see those services.

    Yes, outside users can connect.

It is with yourself cant connect.

I have Telefonica 200 megabits and it is fast, very much fast.

    Telefonica now is Vivo.

I cant connect with myself however, like you said.

Here it is my speed test:

Do a speed test at your nearest server. =D
