From Spectre@21:3/101 to Nobody on Sunday, March 01, 2020 19:29:00
Well some might remember by batch file with random errorlevels that copy files into the goodbye.ans location for TLP. I had an epiphany, not sure why I didn't think of it earlier. At present its in the "outer" batchfile that drives the BBS and it gets called every cycle through. I can't distinguish between a complete logon or a hangup, which is what all the script kiddie login
attacks look like. There's some kind of unresolved problem with semaphore files not sure where, DOS, NFS, Linux could be anywhere in there. Anyway tonights epiphany is to take it out of that batch file and move it as a seperate batchfile thats called like a door from the logoff menu... So when you
finally hit Y for logoff it'll go away do it's thing, and then log you off. Will have to try... haven't got it in place yet.
