I think two things are starting to look a bit obvious. be personal choice in or out. If you want to be in, then you're going to need to put a bit of effort into your web pages. We seem to have a good variety of the Good the Bad and the Ugly as they say. While I don't want to point fingers, poor pages will detract from the value of the webring as a whole. But I can also understand that for a lot of you, it is a very secondary concern, and a long way down your list.

That leaves the scripting to do.
