Hello everybody,

I never meant to offend anybody with wishing people that are systematically opressed and getting actively murdered a happy month dedicated to taking pride in that they will perceive through the terror. I guess some meathead thought that it was unjust, because it's equally important that intersectionality does not get recognized and that them being white and straight makes them as oppressed by the woke government, or whatever.

No one ever said that being white makes it impossible to be oppressed, and if they have, they are part of a minor movement that most people in that scene/movement do not agree with. If you are white, cisgender, heterosexual you can very much be oppressed! However, you will need to recognize that people who are not-white, not cisgender, not heterosexual are being and were always systemtically oppressed. Back then, black people weren't allowed to get a job... The fact that black people are able to get a job now doesn't mean that systemic racism is gone because it's not a law anymore.

The same way feminists don't hate men, but the patriarchy (which men are also sometimes affected by), queer people don't hate straight people, black people don't hate white people (the black panthers are a very good example to this becasue the government made it seem that they wanted to kill all white people, which was outright wrong).

P.S: Next time please consider the systematic struggles queer and non-white people go through and how you are also affected by these things, because you are, but the focus is never the single oppressed person, but the system that facilitates the oppression. Thanks.

Regardless of the responses where people rained on your parade because of wanting to express whatever, it's nice that you wished people a happy celebration.

We could use more of that, for whatever brings joy to any person's life.
