I'm in net 4 but just tried to poll 2/100 with no luck. I suspect that BBS
went down for some reason. :(

It would appear that way, I have mail queued up for Hub 2...

Same here from 2/115, no response to 2/100.

I've heard back from Todd - he's remote rebooted his system and if that didnt work, he'll physically take a look in 2hrs or so.

It's all working for me now. If you chat with him again let him know my gratitude for the wonderful free service he provides for me to have a hobby.

It's very much appreciated, and I know it's a pain to keep things running.

Is anyone else getting an authentication error? I can't recieve anything from Tholian for some reason.

    I'm the same as you...

Polling Tholian like I normally do isn't getting fsxNet to my board.
Am I missing facts that I can just poll somewhere else temporarily or
manually? Is there a way to pull all my normal stuff thru a different node/zone/whatever???

You could ask one of the other hubs for a link also. I have a link at hub 3 that is currently unused but I could use in case of something like this.

A secondary hub will not send mail if your node is listed in the seen-bys so keep that in mind.

So I've left a message with Todd - to let him know that his system is down. I havent seen a reply yet, but when I do I'll share an update (if the reply isnt it being fixed).

You could ask one of the other hubs for a link also. I have a link at hub 3 that is currently unused but I could use in case of something like this.

Hey Al, you may want to test that it is still working. Since we set this up, I've moved Hub 3 onto the default port 24554 and changed over to HPT. It should

be good, but incase its not working, let me know.

Happy to help anybody else with a second feed if you are suffering withdrawal symptons :)

A secondary hub will not send mail if your node is listed in the seen-bys so keep that in mind.

This shouldnt be an issue - since if your hub is down, then nobody else will have you as a SEEN-BY (and you'll get messages). But what will happen, is when your hub comes back up, depending on where a message originated, you will probably get a message a second time - so make sure your dupe checking is on if

    this is an issue.

(And just a reminder, netmail only routes from your original hub, so if it is down, your netmail will be in a queue somewhere.)

Probably should since I have made some changes here recently.

Since we set this up, I've moved Hub 3 onto the default port 24554 and changed over to HPT.

I have changed over to MBSE so I don't have the ability to poll you with
binkps anymore and I don't have a binkps listener anymore. I broke that
messing with nginx's config and I haven't been able to get an TLS listener working.

I just polled you successfully and will send a %help and %list in a few
minutes and see what I get.

It should be good, but incase its not working, let me know.

I think so but you'll want to be sure you are sending to the regular binkp
port instead of the binkps port (since I don't have one) or that might get stuck in your inbound.

No problem - binkp works too.

Do you want my nginx config? I use it on Hub 3.

Yep, I can connect to either binkp or itn.

Do you want my nginx config? I use it on Hub 3.

I was using nginx exclusively for binkps on port 24553. I didn't have a
website online at the time. When I did put a website up I couldn't figure
out how to have both the website and the binkps listener so if your config
does that, yeah.. I could use a look.. :)

I meant your outbound but you knew that.. :)

I did send a netmail to areafix for a help message and list of areas but
    I haven't heard back yet.. ?

Ahh, mine only does port 24553 - but should be OK to use with normal web usage as well. (My synchronet takes care of web requests - but behind a different nginx server in docker.)

I meant your outbound but you knew that.. :)

Its funny how you read back on messages - yes I did know outbound but didnt notice that you had inbound until I re-read it just now!

I did send a netmail to areafix for a help message and list of areas but
    I haven't heard back yet.. ?

Yeah, found it - no packet password.
