    My wife and I attended a genealogy-related software seminar today. It was hosted by
    the makers of 'Family Tree Maker'.

    This software works in conjunction with Ancetry.com and FamilySearch.org It provides
    icons next to the various names that will link the hints from either program.

    It has too many features to list, but if you decide to use it, I might be able to help you
    with it.

    I am interested in this program. Does it allow you to import from Familysearch tree? I made a tree on familysearch. However, I can't figure out what program you can use to import the tree. Living people is an issue, is this the case? Thanks

    I believe you are talking about 'Family Tree maker'? If so, it connects seamlessly to both
    FamilySearch and Ancestry.com

    If you already have a gedcom, you can import it. In fact, you can import as many
    gedcoms as you want. I use it to assist others with their trees.

    It allows you to send invitation emails to other family members so they can give you
    useful suggestions.

    It is by far the BEST genealogical software I could use.
