I was trying to figure out why I wasn't seeing any of the messages posted from my CNet/5 BBS on the hub... turns out I forgot to set the packet password in CNet/5 FTN config .. problem should be solved now!

Funny, I had to remove the pkt password on my C-Net because for some reason it wouldn't work with passwords between my Mystic and C-Net.

I'm not using Mystic to hub the nets.. I'm running MBSE BBS on Linux .. doesn't seem to be an issue when I actually set a password on both ends and not just one lol

I entered my password in 4 locations - both the server to poll, and... TIC/PKT/something else. I dunno if I needed to populate all of those, but it seems to be polling for me now; which ones are NEEDED for these 3 FTNs? :P

Well generally only Session and Areafix passwords are needed, but some of us that are using software designed specifically to hub FTN networks require that all passwords be set. (Areafix/Filefix, TIC, Session and Packet)

If you enter passwords for everything then your uplink must also enter passwords or your software will flag it as bad password and spit it back out

Right - so I prolly need to check with every freaking FTN that I'm running. I'm getting msgs, netmail sends/recieves; but I think 2oFB needs an FTN sysop. UGH.
